Brooklyn Arts Center Wedding – Natalie & Alan

Wedding season 2019 is off and kicking!  This year, we’re doing something a little different.  We have a goal to blog each wedding the day of the wedding!  That’s right, I’ve put it in writing so now I have to stick to it!  So with that said, we present Natalie and Alan’s Brooklyn Arts Center Wedding!

We first met Natalie and Alan while at a wedding show here in Wilmington.  Natalie contacted us just a few days later to book her wedding with us.  A few weeks later we met again in our studio so we could get to know each other a little better.  I knew right away that we were going to get along perfect!

Natalie and Alan chose to have their wedding at The Annex at Brooklyn Arts Center.  A favorite of ours, after-all, that’s where Lori and I were married!  This charming old school turned event space was decorated beautifully by Meg with Meg Henson Events.

Check out some of the highlights from the day.

How did Alan propose?
Alan and I left for a get-away weekend in Charleston, South Carolina. I was already feeling lucky when the front desk offered us an upgraded suite upon arriving for check-in! We checked into our room then went to see the fountain and pier and upon coming back up to our suite the balcony doors were open and there was a gift box beautifully presented on our patio. Inside was a beautiful diamond necklace as he popped the question! Smart man wanted me to pick out the ring I want to wear for the rest of my life!! Undoubtedly I said YES to the necklace!!!

More to come from this intimate wedding!
