It’s not uncommon that clients coming to us for boudoir actually have multiple reasons for wanting to do a boudoir photo shoot. For Ms. W, she was wanting to embrace her postpartum body AND celebrate her wedding! For her first outfit, we did a white-on-white bridal theme that gives all the soft glowy wedding vibes. For outfit #2, we chose a little more color in the outfit, with moodier lighting, just to remind Ms. W that she is a whole vibrant person — not just a mama, not just a wife, but rather all of that and more! And for outfit #3, Ms. W chose The Sheets – a set done without clothing (nude or implied nude boudoir) to celebrate all her new curves. We’re only going to show a couple “safe” images from The Sheets — all of our clients choose exactly which images we can share with our audience. But trust us when we say — our mission was to help Ms. W rediscover her confidence in her post-baby body, and we can confidently say, Mission Accomplished!

Why are you doing a session? (asked before the shoot)
First reason is my Hubby’s wedding gift! Second is I’ve just always wanted to do it. It looks so empowering and I’ve always wanted to feel that power so to speak! I’ve never had butt until the past couple years so loving my little booty! But gaining that many pounds over a few short years really hurt my self confidence. I’m hoping with this session, I’ll feel that empowerment!
What made you choose Boudoir by indigosilver studio?
After lots of Instagram stalking, I loved Lori’s photography the best.
What were you nervous about going into your session?
The poses!
How do you feel now that you’ve completed the session?
Super empowered! And sore 😂 the poses are killer but she helps so much to make it not awkward at all.
What was your favorite part of this experience?
Seeing myself in a completely different light.
If you were to recommend us to your best friend, what would you say?
Simple. DO IT.
Anything we could have done to make your experience better?
Nope! Lori was amazing from day one. I felt completely comfortable and safe and never felt exposed or vulnerable and just had fun.
