Madisan and Brian were wed June 27, 2015 at the Wilmington Convention Center. This fun-loving couple first met with us back in October of last year to talk about their wedding plans. They told us that they love black and white images, and were looking for a photographic style that was timeless and romantic. Challenge accepted!
Madisan and her bridesmaids got ready at a really unique venue called The Loft on Front. If you’re looking for one venue to call home base for your entire wedding weekend, from rehearsal dinner to post wedding brunch, The Loft is a must-see!
Brian and the guys started their day at the Wilmington Convention Center, where the ceremony and reception would occur later that day.
Madisan and Brian decided to do a First Look, or Reveal, where they see each other for the first time in a private setting instead in front of all their guests. Our clients often find this moment to be so much more emotional than they would had they been “on display” at the ceremony. Madisan had the nervous giggles; it was such a great moment!
Severe thunderstorm warnings pushed the ceremony indoors, rather than on the lawn as planned. However, we took advantage of the weather and got some amazing images of the newlywed couple in the storm!
Madisan and Brian have chosen this image to order as a large wall portrait specially printed on metal to bring out the detail. We can’t wait to see it hanging in their living room!
We love the purple uplighting throughout the room – it adds such a celebratory feel!
