We’re excited to share with you this quaint Rocky Mountain destination wedding!
Sabrina and Gene were wed in the small town of Ouray, Colorado. Nestled in between four beautiful snow capped mountains and thousand-foot-tall waterfalls, Ouray is truly a one-horse town. With only one paved road and about 500 full time residents, this historic town has a lot of Old West character.
Sabrina and Gene decided to have an outdoor tent wedding in a small park in the center of town. The Historic Western Hotel served as the reception venue and home base for guests throughout the weekend. The hotel was built in a 1891, and much of the building remains exactly as it was built. True to late 1800s architecture, the rooms were just large enough to fit a bed, with communal bathrooms on each floor. The lobby, main ballroom, and saloon was exactly like it was when built and they had pictures to prove it!
