Simple Boudoir. Sometimes our clients feel stressed about about all the outfits, the sets, and the accessories — there’s so many possibilities when it comes to boudoir! Do you want boho or minimalist? What colors to wear? What if I don’t want to bring 7 types of lingerie? Trying to figure it all out can be overwhelming. I do provide an outfit guide via email and personal guidance for every shoot — but even still, sometimes less is more! I think Mrs. P’s clean and simple boudoir is the perfect example of keep things simple while still having a stunning boudoir session.
Check out Mrs. P’s highlight images below. Notice that she only brought one lingerie outfit (I always recommend a well-fitting bra and panty set as one of your options). Second, we moved to a white tank (what’s more clean and simple than that?). The remainder of her “outfits” were her birthday suit. Easy peasy.
As another means of keeping her session streamlined, we minimized the number of sets Mrs. P used. We have seven different sets at the studio, but Mrs. P stuck to The Bedroom for the majority of her session. Sprinkle in a few from The Shower, and a few of The Bodyscapes, and that’s it! This helped her entire session look much more unified.
So if you’re feeling overwhelmed, just know you don’t have to do all the things. You can have a clean and simple boudoir session, and sometimes simple can be so soo good. Check ’em out below.
